Serving our Sonoma County community since 1931, the Sonoma Humane Society is a donor supported safe haven for animals dedicated to bringing people and companion animals together for a lifetime of love. Their label, featuring a drawing of a junk-art sculpture “Big Dog” by artist Patrick Amiot, is paired with an outstanding 2016 Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon selected from our best barrels.

Wines That Give Back. Mutt Lynch Winery's signature charitable program enables us to support animal rescue organizations directly with the sale of our wines. Winemaker/owner Brenda Lynch works with each nonprofit animal rescue group to design a unique label using artwork that is personal to that organization. In turn, Mutt Lynch donates 25% of the purchase price back to each organization. We're delighted to bring you the Sonoma Humane Society label paired with a 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon from Sonoma County, selected from our very best barrels.
Brenda's Winemaking. I have always loved the quality and character of Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon - ripe dark berry fruit, full and rich tannins - paired with French oak barrels. I have selected from the best of my 2016 French Oak barrels to produce this special limited production 2016 Red Wine. Cabernet Sauvignon has the magical ability to taste great upon release but also to age wonderfully in bottle and I believe that this 2016 vintage red wine will not disappoint on either fronts.

Tight aromas of new French oak and hints of red and black fruits signal the wine’s youth. Bright fruit flavors combine with caramel and toasty oak in a structured mid palette that explodes into a chewy, dense finish with sweet, ripe tannins. Drinks great now!
Food Pairing Notes
Cabernet Sauvignon's perfect pairing is beef! Our favorite is a wood fire grilled thick cut rib-eye steak, bone-in, cooked rare to medium rare.
