2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Innocent
Introducing The Artist. Glenyse Henschel is a San Francisco Bay Area native who is very passionate about her art. As a child she serendipitously stumbled upon a quote by the great actress, Eleonora Duse: “If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy, if a blade of grass has the power to move you, rejoice, for your soul is alive.” This became her motto for life and has defined her artistic career.
Inspiration for the Painting. "Darn dogs – I just love ‘em! There is no deep hidden meaning here. Dogs simply delight me. They are rambunctious, magical, and fun to be around. Innocent is a painting of my lovely assistant, Theo. Happy. Joyous. Ready to play. And, if I might add, incredibly helpful in the studio." - Glenyse Henschel.
2014 Innocent Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon. 2014 was an exceptional vintage for Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon, garnering critical praise for producing wines that are aromatically expressive, rich and energetic, with striking balance and plenty of potential. Winemaker/Owner Brenda Lynch chose one barrel of her Cabernet Sauvignon that was exceptionally rich and complex in flavor for this bottling.
