Mutt Lynch Winery & Dog Art Today have partnered to create a limited release wine using the winning submission from a Dog Art Today art contest.

How cool is that?

Dog Art Today has just announced a dog art contest running through June 12, with the winning submission to be used by yours truly for a new limited release wine.  Dog Art Today’s founder Moira McLaughlin approached Brenda about hosting a dog art contest for a new wine label and we said "YES".

Our phenominal art designer Rae Huestis will utilize the winning artwork to design a special label for a very rare "Brenda" wine.  Only 500 bottles of a Dry Creek Valley Meritage wine will be produced. The wine will be a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot that has aged in 100% French oak for 18 months.  We plan to unveil the winning artwork and wine at our Dog Days of Summer Open House on August 8.

And the best part... Mutt Lynch Winery will be donating 10% of the proceeds for all sales of this very special wine to the Healdsburg Animal Shelter.

Spread the Word!!

Dog Art Today readers will have a chance to vote online for their favorite labels at http://dreamdogsart.typepad.com/.  Check it out... what a cool blog and webpage.

Moira, Brenda and Rae will then join forces to judge the 10 finalists to select the winner. The winning artist will receive the first case of wine produced, signed by winemaker Brenda Lynch, and the winner's art will be profiled on Dog Art Today.

SPREAD THE WORD to any and all "dog art" artist friends, so Moira can get some awesome art to choose from!

Mark Your Calendar!!

And make certain to mark your calendar for our Dog Days of Summer on August 8 & 9, to be there to taste our newest release... as yet unnamed and unlabeled!
